The central message of this church is that God is ‘Father’ and we are all His children. However, because of Adam’s wrong choices, perpetuated by each of us, there is a separation. Each of us at the core of our being, feel the loss and pain of separation, and long for restoration.

The central message of this church is that God is ‘Father’ and we are all His children. However, because of Adam’s wrong choices, perpetuated by each of us, there is a separation. Each of us at the core of our being, feel the loss and pain of separation, and long for restoration.

Our Father went to the greatest of lengths to provide a way back to relationship between individual ‘separated’ sons and daughters, and Himself. He LOVED, and therefore sent His Son Jesus, to make a way, and to be that ‘WAY’ back.

We honour Jesus because He paid the enormous price necessary to re-establish Father/son relationships, yet we find in Him no attempt to create His own identity separate from the Father. Far from it, He repeatedly made it clear that Father was what this was all about. Jesus came here to fulfill His Father’s plan for His life on earth: to restore the way for relationship between Father and His children, and when He had, He said, "It is finished!"

So we want to seize the opportunity, ‘the Way’, which has been made for us to recapture the central purpose of our existence: to live in relationship with our Father. To live to fulfill the Father’s unique plan for OUR lives, by learning as Jesus did, to hear and obey His Father’s voice. The purpose of our copying Jesus’ lifestyle is because He showed us how to be a Son, having wonderful, intimate relationship, a life full of purpose and meaning, accomplishing His Father’s goal.

The result of His life of obedience is that Father has given Him the highest name, the highest place, and decreed that every knee will bow before Him, either now or later. Every single one of us can also discover our unique identity and purpose and learn to begin to walk it out, as a son with his Father beside him every step of the way.
